Neck finish
Also written as neck size, thread finish, 24/410, 18/415.
The thread specification at the opening, written as diameter over thread style. A 24/410 neck takes a 24/410 closure and nothing else.
What it needs from a bottle
The single most common ordering mistake. Bottles and closures are bought separately and a mismatched finish makes both useless. Confirm the finish on every line of an order, especially when mixing suppliers.
