Founder story
I had the products. I didn't have the bottles.
I was starting a skincare brand. The formulas were sorted: a retinol serum, an anti-ageing moisturiser, and a setting spray that doubled as a glowing face base. What I didn't have was anything to put them in.
Every shop near me stocked the same generic bottles you already recognise from a dozen other brands. Going direct to China meant minimum orders I couldn't justify for a product nobody had bought yet. I wanted my brand to look like it belonged on a shelf, and neither option got me there.
So I built the supplier I had been looking for. BDP exists so a small brand can look significant without committing to thousands of units to find out whether it sells.
Why we exist
Because "1,000 units minimum" kills small brands before they start.
The default across cosmetic packaging is a 1,000 unit MOQ per SKU. For a brand testing a new formula, that's a five figure bet on a product nobody has bought yet. Most founders bail there. The good product never gets made.
We start at 10. That's not a stunt. It's the whole business. You test what sells, keep the wins, drop the losses, then scale into printed customisation when the sales tell you to.
Everything else follows from that: transparent tiered pricing, no application form for wholesale, and a supplier who's still there at 2,500 units and 25,000.
What we do
Sourcing
We buy glass and plastic packaging straight from manufacturers we've vetted, so you get factory pricing without having to manage overseas procurement yourself.
Customisation
Silk-screen printing, hot stamping and colour matching, available from 2,500 units. Put your logo on the bottle so it reads as your product, not a generic one.
Delivery
We ship worldwide and handle the freight, so your order clears customs and turns up when it should. We are based in the Western Cape and buy direct from the factories.
