Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to take and fulfil your orders and to run the shop:

• Contact & account details: your name, email address and password (stored encrypted) when you register or place an order.
• Order & delivery details: the products you order, your delivery and billing address, and contact number.
• Business details: company name and related information if you apply for a B2B account.
• Payment information: card and payment details are entered directly with our payment processor (Paystack). We do not see or store your full card number.
• Technical & usage data: your approximate location (from your IP address, used to show prices in your local currency), browser type, and basic analytics about how the site is used.

• To process, fulfil and deliver your orders, and to keep you updated on their status.
• To manage your account and any recurring orders.
• To respond to your enquiries and provide support.
• To send order confirmations and service emails, and (only where relevant) occasional product updates.
• To detect and prevent fraud, and to keep the site secure.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we rely on to run the shop, and only as far as they need it:

• Paystack: to process payments securely.
• Couriers, freight forwarders and customs agents: to deliver your order and clear it through customs.
• Email provider (Resend): to send order and service emails.
• Hosting providers (Vercel, Railway) and our database (Neon): to run and store the site and orders.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

We use essential cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and detect your currency from your location. These are needed for the site to work. We don’t use them to build advertising profiles.

We keep your account and order information for as long as you have an account with us, and for as long afterwards as we need it to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. When it’s no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections, passwords are stored hashed, and payment details are handled by our payment processor rather than stored by us. Access to order data is limited to staff who need it.

You have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy.
• Ask us to correct or update information that is wrong or out of date.
• Ask us to delete your information, where we’re not required to keep it.
• Object to certain uses of your information, including marketing emails (every marketing email also has an unsubscribe link).
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
