Squalane
Also written as squalane oil, facial oil.
A light, stable emollient sold neat as a single-ingredient oil or blended into oil serums. It spreads fast and does not oxidise easily.
What it needs from a bottle
Thin oils run. A wide-bore pipette pours too fast for a face and the customer overuses, so a narrow pipette or a dosing pump makes a 30ml bottle last the month it is priced to last.
