Salicylic acid
Also written as BHA, beta hydroxy acid.
An oil-soluble exfoliant used in watery toners and in leave-on treatments. Usually low viscosity and often in a solvent blend.
What it needs from a bottle
Solvents attack the wrong plastics. A BHA toner sitting in an unsuitable PET bottle can panel, cloud or leach, so this is a category where the material matters more than the shape. Glass is the safe answer while you are testing.
