PHA
Also written as polyhydroxy acid, gluconolactone, gentle exfoliant.
A larger-molecule acid marketed as the gentle alternative to AHAs. Watery, and usually in a toner or an essence.
What it needs from a bottle
Same material caution as any acid. Check the closure liner and avoid exposed metal. Glass is the safe default while you are still testing the formula.
