Cleansing balm
Also written as oil cleanser, double cleanse, first cleanse.
A solid or semi-solid oil that melts on contact. The first step of a double cleanse and usually the largest jar in a Korean range.
What it needs from a bottle
Wide mouth, and a spatula if the balm is soft. The customer digs with fingers otherwise, which is fine for them and bad for a preservative-light formula.
