Bakuchiol
Also written as retinol alternative, plant retinol.
An oil-soluble botanical positioned as a gentler alternative to retinol. Usually formulated into a facial oil or an oil-serum.
What it needs from a bottle
Oils belong in glass with a dropper, and the dropper bulb has to be oil-rated. A standard rubber bulb perishes in an oil serum and the customer sees black flecks, which reads as contamination even when it is only the bulb.
