How to Get Your Logo on Cosmetic Bottles
Putting your logo on your packaging is one of the fastest ways to make a young skincare brand look established. A branded jar or bottle reads as a real product, not a repackaged generic, and it lifts perceived value far beyond what the printing costs. Here's how it works worldwide.
Silk screen printing
Silk screen presses ink directly onto the bottle or jar through a fine mesh. It's crisp, durable and excellent for logos and simple artwork in one or two colours. It's the most popular choice for cosmetic packaging because it looks clean and holds up well to handling and bathroom humidity.
Hot stamping (foil)
Hot stamping applies a metallic or coloured foil under heat and pressure, that gold or silver logo you see on high-end skincare. It's the go-to when you want a shiny, reflective finish that signals an expensive product. Best for bold, solid logos rather than fine detail.
Colour change
Beyond printing your logo, you can change the colour or finish of the bottle or lid itself, frosted, matte, or a custom shade, to match your brand palette. Combined with a printed logo, it creates a fully coordinated, custom look.
Getting your artwork right
- Supply your logo as a vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF) so it scales cleanly.
- Keep one- or two-colour designs for silk screen; bold, solid shapes for hot stamping.
- Allow for the curved surface, very fine detail and tiny text can be hard to print on small bottles.
- Decide placement (front panel, lid, or both) before you order.
Costs and minimums
Customisation pricing depends on the method and quantity, and like our packaging it's transparent and tiered. You don't need a giant order to brand your products, talk to us about the current minimums for silk screen, hot stamping and colour change, and we'll help you choose the most cost-effective option for your range.
Branded packaging is often the difference between looking like a hobby and looking like a brand. It's more affordable than most founders expect, and it's one of the highest-impact upgrades you can make.
